The Pages Forward Campaign is a movement of hope, healing, and empowerment—built around the idea that every child deserves to see themselves as capable, powerful, and destined for greatness.

The image says it all: a young child, standing tall in a graduation cap and gown, one hand raised in victory, the other gripping a book like it holds the world. That’s not just a logo—it’s a vision for every young life we touch.

Founded by children’s author and community advocate Ta-Sean C. Murdock, this campaign uses the power of literature to help children believe in themselves, their voices, and their futures. Through his books—I Am Brave and Bright and I Can and I Will—Ta-Sean speaks directly to the hearts of young readers, reminding them that they are seen, strong, and unstoppable.

Our Mission: Deliver 1,500 Books That Build Bravery, Belief & Belonging

In partnership with One Team One Dream of the Capital District, Inc., we are working to place 1,500 inspiring books into the hands of youth in:

Schools and classrooms
Hospitals and medical waiting rooms
Shelters and transitional housing
Youth programs, mentorship groups, and libraries

These are not just any books—these are messages of strength written by someone who has walked a similar path, risen above, and now reaches back to lift others.
